Who We Are

14K Media got its start in 2016 by Logan and his friend Matt Scofield. They grew up playing sports together. During college, Matt thought he wanted to pursue journalism because he enjoyed telling stories. He bought a cheap DSLR camera and started filming those stories instead of writing them. At the same time, Logan started bringing his camera to skate parks across Colorado, creating edits and documentaries for friends and honing in a unique cinematography style. Logan and Matt lived in the same apartment complex during college so it became a natural step to start collaborating and 14K Media was born.

They found an edge in the market by bringing high-quality equipment and a high standard to sets but working efficiently while wearing more hats than larger production companies in order to decrease overhead costs and save the client on cost, all while delivering a beautiful and effective commercial film. From Colorado to Switzerland. At 14K Media we don’t want to charge outrageous prices for a single film but enjoy working closely with a client for years to build a footage library and knock out their marketing goals one by one, all while keeping costs low.

LOGAN MCLENNAN

Logan's filming adventures didn't begin with a camera, but with a bike. After riding hard in the skateparks of Western Colorado, Logan noticed a need to capture his friends' polished tricks on film. There wasn't any pay at first, but that didn't matter. It was here that he fine-tuned his sports action style, getting the shot when it mattered the most.
